Average there is computed as posts / (date of last post - date of first post).
If/when he comes back and makes just one post, his post average will drop like a rock.

Completely true, but he's the only one who managed to start massive 0.0 wars by doing it. I'm pretty sure he's 90% responsible for instigating the entire Great Northern War (EVE WW I for the newblets).
